Administrative Operations Manager – Metro RYDC (Atlanta)

About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking an Administrative Operations Manager for the Metro RYDC region in Atlanta. This position supports management decision‑making through complex administrative tasks, data analysis, and operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate financial, personnel, market, and operational research to support strategic planning.
• Develop economic, demographic, and sociological forecasts for business and program strategies.
• Maintain positive relationships with the local business community, internal and external agency customers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor business operations, assess service quality, and recommend improvements.
• Gather, compile, and analyze data, then prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
• Provide high‑level support for projects, grants, contracts, and procedural implementations.

Required profile

• Associate degree in business or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required skills

• PeopleSoft (experience preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to run queries and create electronic requisitions, purchase orders, and ledgers.
