About the role
The Administrative Coordinator I provides essential administrative and program support for the University Staff Council (USC) at Texas A&M University. You will coordinate meetings, events, facilities, and digital resources, ensuring smooth daily operations for the council.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute meeting materials, schedule logistics for monthly USC meetings and committee gatherings.
- Coordinate room reservations, refreshments, audio/visual equipment, and on‑site assistance for events.
- Maintain the USC website, listservs, Google Drive, and SharePoint to keep information current and accessible.
- Order and manage USC branded items such as name tags, shirts, plaques, and certificates.
- Serve as the first point of contact for USC program inquiries, policy guidance, and compliance monitoring.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of related administrative or program coordination experience.
- Strong organizational, written communication, and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and handle confidential information.
