About the role
The Administrative Associate IV provides advanced administrative support within the Division of International Banking & Finance Studies at Texas A&M International University. Working under general supervision, the role involves handling complex office functions, supporting faculty, and ensuring compliance with policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provides advanced administrative support and may serve as a personal assistant, maintaining office schedules and appointments.
- Researches and analyzes administrative requirements for programs or projects, and assists in developing complex office procedures.
- Maintains fiscal, administrative, and academic records, processes forms, reports, and performs special analyses.
- Coordinates meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, and special events, including facilities, equipment, and catering.
- Supports faculty with policy adherence, syllabus and curriculum documentation, and assists supervisors with meeting agendas and minutes.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least four years of related administrative experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities; ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- General office environment physical requirements and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.
