Adjunct Sociology Instructor (Pool)

About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College is seeking qualified individuals to join its Sociology pool as adjunct instructors. You will teach undergraduate courses on a flexible schedule, supporting both on‑campus and online learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one or more Sociology courses, such as Introduction to Sociology and Social Problems.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, virtual sessions, and evening classes as required.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students.
• Maintain academic integrity and adhere to college policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology.
• Preferred: PhD in Sociology.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level.
