Adjunct Life Science Instructor (Part-Time)

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is hiring a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Life Science courses. This fixed‑term academic position reports to the Dean of Science, Technology & Mathematics and involves classroom instruction, student support, and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned Life Science classes for the full scheduled duration.
• Provide regular office hours or other availability to assist students with coursework.
• Maintain up‑to‑date subject knowledge and instructional materials.
• Attend required professional development activities on‑campus and, when appropriate, off‑campus.
• Keep accurate records, update documents, and enter grades in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Ability to deliver Life Science instruction as assigned by the Academic Dean.
• Willingness to be available to students outside of class for academic support.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and skill maintenance.
• Responsibility to the Dean of Science, Technology & Mathematics.
