Adjunct Instructor – Banking & Finance (Continuing Education)

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks an Adjunct Instructor to deliver non‑credit, continuing‑education courses in Banking and Finance. You will guide adult learners through classroom instruction, role‑play exercises, and skill‑based labs while evaluating their progress toward defined learning objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and master the training curriculum, or assist in its development.
• Deliver classroom instruction, facilitate discussions, and conduct role‑play activities.
• Create a supportive learning environment and ensure all training objectives are met.
• Tutor, instruct, and monitor students in both lecture and lab settings.
• Prepare and submit required paperwork, including course evaluations, performance documentation, and timesheets.
• Travel to additional campuses as needed.
• Perform additional instructional duties assigned by the Director of Corporate and Community Education or the Vice President of Economic Development.

Required profile

• Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level or industry trainer background.
• Completion of banking and finance training, certification, or equivalent military/company program.
• Substantial industry experience; recognized credentials may substitute for formal education.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to maintain a consistent work schedule and travel when required.
