Adjunct Faculty – Health Professions

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks qualified professionals to join its Health Professions department as adjunct faculty on a course‑by‑course basis. In this part‑time role you will teach undergraduate courses that may be delivered online, in hybrid format, or in‑person, depending on program needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction for courses such as Nursing, Emergency Medicine, Phlebotomy, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Office Management, and Medical Billing/Coding.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Health Professions and other faculty to align curriculum with industry requirements.

Required profile

• Professional experience in one or more health‑profession fields listed above.
• Ability to teach in online, hybrid, or face‑to‑face environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
