About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. This academic affiliate will support the university’s mission of education, research, and clinical excellence, working closely with the Family Medicine chair and existing faculty.
Key responsibilities
- Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students and residents in family medicine.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental initiatives as directed by the chair.
- Contribute to clinical education and supervise patient care activities.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and quality improvement projects, as appropriate.
Required profile
- Terminal medical degree (MD or DO).
- Active, unlimited Arkansas medical license.
- Board certification in Family Medicine (e.g., ABFM) or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to work on site at the UAMS campus in Little Rock.
