Activities Aide – Full‑Time

About the role

Citizens Health is seeking a full‑time Activities Aide for Prairie Senior, a long‑term care facility in Colby, KS. You will support the planning and delivery of recreational, religious, intellectual and occupational activities for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in a variety of activities, aiming for maximum independence.
• Assist with developing and implementing the activities program and maintain accurate records in line with state and federal regulations.
• Provide input for resident assessments and care plans while adhering to departmental policies, quality‑assurance, infection‑control and environmental standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification or willingness to train.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport residents to activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, calm under pressure, and ability to follow guidelines and procedures.

Required skills

• Basic record‑keeping and documentation compliance.
• Ability to maintain quality‑control standards and develop departmental quality assurance.
