Acquisition Account Manager

About the role

The Acquisition Account Manager supports the Electrified Motion Division’s global and regional customer teams in shaping sales strategies that meet annual acquisition targets and drive growth of Bosch’s electrified mobility solutions. This role combines market intelligence, pricing strategy and cross‑functional coordination to win new business and strengthen existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead acquisition activities, from opportunity identification to quotation submission, ensuring alignment with the Agile Sales blueprint.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage the quotation process in Salesforce, and present technical proposals to targeted customers.
• Develop and maintain pricing strategies for North America, including price matrices, tooling costs and prototype pricing.
• Gather competitor, market and technology intelligence and produce position papers and visit reports.
• Support capacity and production planning, PO verification, and hand‑off to the Commercial Excellence team.
• Travel up to 40 % domestically and internationally to engage with customers and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with electrified product lines or electronic automotive products is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce for quotation and opportunity management.
• Ability to develop and execute pricing strategies and price matrix coordination.
