About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage both accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes within our dynamic team in San Francisco. This full‑time position requires a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and ensures accurate financial transactions and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Handle the accounts payable process by verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
- Assist in month‑end closing activities and support the preparation of reports and financial statements.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve AR/AP processes.
- Maintain and update financial records in the accounting software, ensuring accuracy for audits and analysis.
Required profile
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
