Accounting Manager – Part-time (NYC)

About the role

Our client, a prestigious luxury hotel in the heart of New York City, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its financial operations on a part‑time basis. The role is central to maintaining the hotel’s financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable/receivable and coordinate month‑end close.
• Prepare and present financial statements to senior management.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance and accounting, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Experience managing a finance team and handling full‑cycle accounting.
• Knowledge of hotel accounting standards and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
