Accountant II – General Accounting

About the role

The Accountant II will provide finance and accounting expertise to the Global Business Services (GBS) and Financial Department, focusing on general accounting functions such as balance‑sheet maintenance, reporting, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain balance‑sheet accounts, prepare monthly and annual reports, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Execute general ledger entries, including adjustments, reclassifications, and reconciliations.
• Create and maintain documentation (DTPs/SOPs) and support continuous‑improvement initiatives across legal entities.
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, such as process migrations, system testing, and cross‑training.
• Deliver on key performance metrics and service‑level agreements with business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• English proficiency of 80% or higher.
• Experience in shared‑service or accounting process migration environments is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (experience preferred).
• Microsoft 365.
• Power Query and Power Automate (Microsoft Power Platform).
