Account Representative – Automotive Refinish

About the role

We are looking for an Account Representative to join our Automotive Refinish team covering Eastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The role involves working with automotive collision repair shops and distribution partners, traveling up to 50% of the time, to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the business strategy and drive sales growth in the local markets by identifying customers and market needs.
• Increase sales through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, closing sales and recommending new products and services, with 70% of the role focused on new business.
• Document activity routinely via Salesforce.
• Manage existing relationships and develop new ones.
• Establish trust and value in the ever‑changing industry.
• Retain business and drive sales growth with a home base within the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED acceptable with relevant work experience.
• Experience in field sales, territory management, and customer relations.
• Experience in the collision industry preferred, with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Professional attitude to value current customers while aggressively pursuing new business.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
