Account Partner – CRO (Strategic Sales)

About the role

Veeva Systems, a leader in cloud‑based solutions for the life‑sciences industry, is seeking an experienced Account Partner to join its Randomization & Trial Supply Management (RTSM) sales team. The CRO Account Partner will focus on strategic account management with the world’s largest Contract Research Organizations, helping to sell the Vault RTSM solution.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and present Veeva RTSM to inspire prospect interest.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, and C‑level within CROs.
• Meet or exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Manage complex sales cycles, leveraging internal and external resources.
• Stay current with industry trends and address customer business challenges.
• Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customer.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or consultative selling.
• Deep understanding of CRO operations.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Strategic account planning and execution skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to engage customers from end‑users to C‑level executives.
• Highly self‑motivated with minimal supervision.
• Passion for solving customer business problems.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of RTSM/IRT/IVRS/IWRS/IXRS solutions.

• Base salary range $80,000 – $300,000, plus variable bonus and stock options.
