Account Executive – Navy Solutions

About the role

As an Account Executive at Cape, your mission is to drive revenue growth by positioning our privacy‑first, security‑first solutions to the United States Navy. You will act as a trusted advisor, navigating government procurement complexities and delivering solutions that align with the Navy’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets by closing new business deals with the Navy and expanding footprint within existing government accounts.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, building long‑term relationships and identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain deep knowledge of government procurement processes (PPBE, POM) to successfully navigate complex sales cycles.
• Build and sustain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, lead generation, and collaboration with marketing and business development.
• Provide exceptional client service, acting as the primary point of contact for USG clients and ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• 5+ years in customer‑facing roles (account executive, solutions engineer, etc.) or equivalent government experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Domain experience in cyber operations, privacy, security, telecommunications, or related fields.
• Experience in enterprise sales, especially at early‑stage defense‑focused companies.
• Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance and willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Based in Washington, DC or New York; relocation assistance available.
