Account Executive

About the role

Fortis Corredor de Seguros is looking for an Account Executive to manage a portfolio of clients, provide personalized insurance advice, and guide them through the entire contracting and renewal cycle. This full‑time, onsite position is based in San Francisco and requires a proactive, organized, and results‑oriented professional.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client needs and develop tailored insurance proposals.
• Coordinate quotations with insurers and present options to clients.
• Track claims, incidents, and client inquiries to ensure high‑quality service.
• Prospect new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Prepare reports, update internal systems, and collaborate with the operations team for smooth client experiences.

Required profile

• Strong commercial and customer‑service mindset with the ability to detect needs and manage objections.
• Excellent oral and written communication in Spanish, capable of explaining complex concepts simply.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in insurance brokerage, insurers, or related sectors, familiar with health, life, auto, and property lines.
• University studies in administration, finance, marketing, law or related fields; insurance‑specific training is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with CRM systems and digital platforms of insurers.
