About the role
We are looking for a field‑based Account Executive to sell diagnostic imaging equipment to hospitals, imaging centers and radiation oncology departments in the Long Island, NY area. You will be the primary contact for customers evaluating Siemens Medical Solutions products and services, driving growth in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve territory revenue targets by penetrating accounts with product, solution and service offerings.
- Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet business goals and budgets.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers within customer organizations.
- Communicate market intelligence to internal stakeholders and assist in forecasting and budgeting.
- Lead territory team reviews and adjust account plans based on market and competitive changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience to hospitals or imaging centers, preferably within large, matrixed hospital systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding large sales quotas and managing long sales cycles.
- Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory.
- Medical imaging industry experience is required.
