A320 Family MAP Cabin & Cargo Engineering Team Manager

About the role

The A320 Family MAP Cabin & Cargo Engineering Team Manager leads a specialised engineering group that bridges the Global Design Office and the Final Assembly Line. The role ensures cabin and cargo system configurations meet manufacturing needs while complying with safety and airworthiness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority for cabin and cargo engineering, delivering compliant solutions and authorising repairs, rework and troubleshooting instructions.
• Manage, mentor and develop a high‑performing engineering team, defining qualifications, conducting performance reviews and driving recruitment.
• Coordinate transnational interfaces with the A320 Chief Engineer, Design Office and local Manufacturing/Quality, providing metrics, KPIs and technical presentations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 + years progressive aerospace engineering experience, with at least 5 + years in transnational, multicultural organisations.
• Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to travel 5‑10 % domestically and internationally.
