About the role
This on‑campus work‑study position supports the Testing Center at Texas A&M International University. The student will assist department staff with routine office tasks while gaining experience in a university testing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle routine inquiries from employees and students.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing documents.
- Scan and manage financial records and maintain office supply inventory.
- Assist with records retention and other related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Enrolled at least half‑time (6 credit hours for undergraduates, 3 for graduates).
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate).
- Complete FAFSA annually and have a current file with the Office of Financial Aid.
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, eligible non‑citizen, or holder of an alien registration number.
- Meet Texas A&M International University’s Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a personal computer workstation and common software applications.
- Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
