Weekend Brewing Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Weekender Maintenance Engineer at the Los Angeles Brewery ensures equipment reliability and system performance in a high‑speed manufacturing environment. This hands‑on position focuses on mechanical maintenance, valve and actuator troubleshooting, and process piping systems while supporting continuous improvement across brewery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair valves, actuators, and process equipment to support system reliability.
• Perform mechanical work on process piping systems, including disassembly, repair, and reassembly.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance to drive equipment uptime.
• Interpret P&IDs and technical documentation to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Execute work through CMMS (SAP or similar) following safety, quality, and SOP standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; 4+ years industrial mechanical experience (or 2‑year technical degree).
• Experience with process piping, valves, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety practices such as LOTO and confined‑space entry.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends.
