VP CIB Loan Operations – Agency & Non‑Agency Servicing Lead

About the role

This senior position leads the Corporate & Investment Banking loan operations team responsible for both agency and non‑agency loan servicing. Based in Miami, the role ensures efficient delivery of loan products and services while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of loan servicing analysts handling agency and non‑agency loan activities.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor workloads, and enforce internal controls and deadlines.
• Manage the full lifecycle of syndicated and non‑agency loans, including setup, documentation review, funding, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with counterparties, agents, and custodians to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth servicing.
• Serve as primary contact for front‑office, credit risk, legal, compliance, and technology teams.
• Escalate and resolve servicing issues, operational risks, and delays.
• Provide regular reporting on loan volumes, exceptions, and key performance indicators to senior management.
• Identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and collaborate with technology teams to automate manual tasks.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements such as SOX, FDPA, and Regulation H.
• Support internal and external audits by supplying documentation and implementing corrective actions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate and investment banking loan operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong understanding of syndicated loan structures and non‑agency servicing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing loan servicing.
