About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Visiting Student to join the Department of Neurology. This short‑term research position provides hands‑on experience in a clinical research environment, supporting ongoing neurology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior researchers with data collection, entry, and analysis.
• Perform literature reviews and summarize findings relevant to neurology studies.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory notebooks and research documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussion of experimental results.

Required profile

• Current high‑school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
• Interest in neuroscience, neurology, or related biomedical fields.
• Ability to obtain proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
