Video Editor – YouTube Content

About the role

Airrack is looking for a seasoned Video Editor to shape the creative direction and execution of its high‑impact YouTube videos. You will work closely with producers and the broader team to craft compelling stories that attract millions of viewers while staying ahead of platform trends.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the editing process from rough cuts to final exports, ensuring narrative flow and high engagement.
• Provide creative input during pre‑production and post‑production, influencing pacing, tone, and overall storytelling.
• Collaborate with producers, writers, and other team members to bring each project’s vision to life.
• Stay current with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and emerging editing techniques.
• Mentor junior editors, offering feedback and helping develop their skills.
• Work extended hours as needed to meet tight deadlines, especially for high‑stakes launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience editing YouTube content with videos that have amassed hundreds of millions of views.
• Proven ability to understand and apply YouTube’s algorithm, audience‑retention strategies, and platform trends.
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and a keen eye for detail and pacing.
• Leadership qualities to inspire the team and drive projects under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Familiarity with YouTube analytics tools.
