Vice President of People (HR)

About the role

Plasmidsaurus is seeking a Vice President of People to lead its global People function as the company scales its life‑science sequencing platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the people strategy that supports rapid international growth, new product launches, and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an organizational structure that enables fast, accountable, and operationally excellent scaling worldwide.
• Build and develop a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline.
• Create and oversee people systems, policies, and governance to ensure compliance and high performance.
• Partner with the executive team on strategic decisions, growth plans, and business trade‑offs.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention initiatives for a rapidly expanding workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience scaling People functions in founder‑led, high‑growth technology or life‑science companies.
• Track record of building international teams and operating structures.
• Strong business judgment and ability to contribute to organization‑wide strategy discussions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leadership.
