Vice President of Manufacturing

About the role

The Vice President of Manufacturing leads the end‑to‑end manufacturing operations across five facilities employing over 1,000 staff. Reporting to senior leadership, this role drives strategic direction, safeguards company culture, and ensures profitability while delivering high‑quality injection‑molded automotive components.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute strategic goals to achieve business, operational and financial objectives.
• Oversee culture development, talent growth, and multi‑site team leadership.
• Lead adoption of advanced technologies and best practices to improve efficiency and processes.
• Ensure performance against safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and cost metrics.
• Collaborate with launch and supply‑chain teams to provide manufacturability input and transition products from launch to production.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives, working‑capital improvements, and cash‑flow management.
• Promote operational excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and compliance with IATF/ISO standards.
• Develop talent pipelines and retain key personnel across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in injection molding.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑site teams, especially within Tier 1 automotive environments.
• Demonstrated track record of driving change, cost improvements, and efficiency gains.
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing expertise.
• Experience with ERP and MES systems.
• Knowledge of IATF and ISO compliance standards.
• Injection molding process knowledge.
