Valet & Transportation Attendant

About the role

The Valet & Transportation Attendant is the first point of contact for members and guests at Discovery Land Company. You will create positive, lasting impressions while handling vehicle parking, shuttle operations, and on‑site transportation for VIPs and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing members and guests promptly.
• Park, retrieve, and safely handle member, guest, and golf‑cart vehicles.
• Drive transit vans to transport passengers to on‑site locations, the airport, and off‑site destinations such as Los Angeles.
• Assist guests with luggage, wheelchairs, directions, and other concierge services.
• Maintain cleanliness of shuttles and company vehicles (basic washing, interior wiping, vacuuming).
• Perform routine checks on vehicle tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and safety equipment.
• Log all vehicles, passengers, and golf bags processed through valet.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage staff regarding reservations and guest arrivals.
• Keep the valet area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Required profile

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (or international equivalent) with a clean driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least six months of guest‑service experience in a high‑volume restaurant, resort, or private club environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods and handle vehicle operation safely.
