Unarmed Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Eagle Mountain, Utah. The Shift Security Supervisor supervises and coordinates the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, the Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and the professional security officers. The position is unarmed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate the required vehicle; licensing requirements depend on state and local laws.
• One year of security experience and supervisor experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal professionally with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently, and to display strong customer service skills.
• Background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol test required; a drivers' record check may also be required.

Required skills

• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
