Unarmed Security Officer - Patrol Driver (Healthcare)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring an unarmed security officer in Kailua, Hawaii who drives assigned routes and patrols healthcare sites. The role serves and safeguards clients across industries such as healthcare, with a focus on providing a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes and conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas and perimeters to spot and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms and critical situations, following emergency response procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access and reporting concerns.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations and policy violations and share relevant information with site leadership and management.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed depending on state and local laws.
