About the role

CrossMed is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical‑Surgical care for a 13‑week travel assignment in Palestine, Texas. The position starts on 06/15/2026, works 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and offers a tax‑free stipend package.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Med‑Surg unit, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care according to facility protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection‑control standards.
• Respond to emergent situations and participate in code teams as needed.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license eligible to practice in Texas.
• Experience in Medical‑Surgical nursing, preferably with night‑shift exposure.
• Willingness to relocate for a 13‑week assignment and start on the specified date.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
