Territory Sales Specialist – Wound Care

About the role
Essity is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Specialist focused on Advanced Wound Care. The role will drive sales of a portfolio that includes Hydrofera Blue, Cutimed‑Sorbact, Sorbion, Epiona, Hypafix, Jobst‑Compri2 and Comprifore across the greater San Francisco Bay area. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be the primary sales driver for acute care, surgical areas and wound‑care centers.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales targets through key account closures and competitive conversions.
- Conduct clinical and product presentations to surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, WOCNs and nurses.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans, including pre‑ and post‑call activities.
- Penetrate and grow relationships with GPOs, IDNs and other strategic healthcare networks.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and coordinate internal resources to support customer opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in medical or healthcare sales, preferably within wound‑care or related therapeutic areas.
- Strong understanding of the acute care, surgical and wound‑care continuum.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with key clinical stakeholders.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of the Essity Advanced Wound Care product portfolio.
- Effective sales process execution and contract implementation.
- Strategic account planning and territory management.
- Customer needs assessment and solution development.
