Territory Manager – Sales (San Diego, CA)

About the role

RespirTech’s Territory Manager represents the InCourage airway clearance therapy medical device, engaging pulmonologists and other specialists to support patients with chronic respiratory and neuromuscular conditions. The role is field‑based, focused on building relationships and driving adoption of the therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outside sales and territory management, including account management and new‑business development.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities, overcome objections, and influence prescriber mind‑sets.
• Conduct office sales calls, in‑services, product demonstrations, and present clinical evidence to physicians.
• Serve as an expert on Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage criteria for InCourage therapy and educate healthcare teams.
• Obtain necessary medical‑record documentation to secure coverage.
• Analyze data to target priority healthcare teams and optimize sales call routing.

Required profile

• 3+ years of successful direct field sales, clinical education, or clinical sales support experience (durable/home medical equipment or pharmaceutical sales preferred).
• Ability to spend ~90% of time in the field, including occasional overnight travel.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field (preferred) or 7+ years of field sales experience.
• Capability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodation.
