Temporary Maintenance Technician – The Hills Apartments

About the role

We are looking for a Temporary Maintenance Technician to join the team at The Hills Apartments, a Greystar‑managed community in Orangevale, CA. The role involves ensuring the building, grounds and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident‑generated work orders, diagnose the source of defects and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to keep mechanical systems and amenities operating efficiently.
• Work the scheduled shifts (Tuesday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm, Saturday 8 am‑5 pm) and be available for on‑call duties as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in building or facilities maintenance.
• Eligibility for incentive‑based bonuses.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Required skills

• Technical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Preventative maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of safety standards and local building codes.
