Technical Program Manager, Operations & Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the transition of our hardware from late‑stage engineering design to high‑volume manufacturing. In this position you will act as the primary operational bridge between internal engineering teams, global contract manufacturers, joint development manufacturers, and component suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the operational and manufacturing program schedule, aligning factory readiness milestones with product development timelines and launch dates.
• Manage NPI builds (proto, EVT, DVT, PVT) on‑site and remotely with contract manufacturers to ensure zero‑defect transitions into mass production.
• Coordinate line bring‑up, capacity planning, yield tracking, and cycle‑time optimizations across global manufacturing sites.
• Partner with manufacturing and quality engineers to author, review, and standardize SOPs for mechanical assembly, functional testing, and station setups.
• Develop repeatable factory rework and repair workflows and audit manufacturing lines for process discipline, safety, and ESD compliance.
• Collaborate with hardware and test engineering teams to deploy automated assembly and test infrastructure (ICT, FCT, EOL) on factory floors.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, CAPA) for assembly line stoppages and test yield drops.
• Manage day‑to‑day engagement with component suppliers, tier‑1/tier‑2 vendors, and CM account leadership, tracking critical deliveries and buffer stock levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading hardware scaling projects from engineering design to high‑volume manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with NPI builds (EVT, DVT, PVT) and mass‑production ramp‑up.
• Strong background in manufacturing process control, capacity planning, and yield optimization.
• Ability to work closely with global contract manufacturers and supplier networks.
