About the role

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville invites applications for two Teaching Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Psychological Science. These non‑tenure‑track, fixed‑term appointments focus on undergraduate teaching, student mentorship, and contribution to the department’s research mission.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate courses in psychological science, including lectures, labs, and discussion sections.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental standards.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate research projects and provide academic advising.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum development, and faculty meetings.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level or equivalent instructional experience.
