Tax & Treasury IT Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Tax & Treasury IT Manager to lead the development and delivery of technology solutions that support our tax and treasury business processes. The role acts as the product owner for tax and treasury platforms, bridging business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to ensure compliance, efficiency and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap and backlog for tax and treasury technology solutions.
• Gather and translate business requirements from Tax, Treasury, Finance, Compliance and IT into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise features, enhancements, defects and technical debt based on business value, risk and regulatory impact.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, data teams and vendors to design scalable, secure and compliant solutions.
• Oversee testing, user acceptance, release planning and change‑management activities.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for tax reporting, indirect and direct tax, transfer pricing, cash management, liquidity, banking, payments, debt, investments and financial risk management systems.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate roadmap updates, delivery status, risks and issues to stakeholders and manage vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a product owner or manager for tax, treasury or finance‑related technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of tax and treasury processes, compliance requirements and financial risk management.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across finance, compliance and IT functions.
• Ability to coordinate testing, releases and change management in a complex, global organisation.
