Support Engineer – Veterinary HealthTech

About the role

The Support Engineer acts as the technical bridge between the Platform Engineering team and the Customer Experience (CX) team for a veterinary software platform. You will own onboarding and off‑boarding workflows, execute data migrations, and resolve complex platform‑level issues.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical onboarding for new customers, including environment provisioning, configuration, integration setup, and data imports.
• Manage off‑boarding processes, handling data exports, environment teardown, access revocation, and documentation.
• Perform structured data migrations with validation, transformation, and quality‑assurance checks.
• Own and resolve technical tickets escalated by the CX team, covering environment configuration, integration troubleshooting, bulk data updates, and platform issues.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Implementation Managers, occasionally joining live calls to address data validation questions.

Required profile

• Autonomous problem‑solver comfortable at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, data operations, and customer‑facing support.
• Strong communication skills to translate customer needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional engineering and CX teams.

Required skills

• SQL for complex data migrations and queries.
• Elixir (backend language used by the platform).
• React (frontend framework).
• GraphQL for API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts.
