Supply Planner

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Supply Planner to support procurement operations for equipment and materials used in utility‑scale solar, battery‑energy‑storage (BESS) and high‑voltage (HV) power system construction projects. The role will develop and maintain project‑specific supply plans, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery of materials to project sites. This position is fully remote and will serve as the primary procurement liaison for cross‑functional project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project meetings with engineering, project management, scheduling, and field teams, leading procurement‑related discussions.
• Coordinate with engineering to maintain a revision‑controlled Bill of Materials (BOM) and corresponding supply plan, including supplier, lead time, and cost data.
• Update supply plans following engineering revisions and generate variance reports to communicate changes and impacts.
• Create, review, and manage purchase requisitions in alignment with approved supply plans.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to develop dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into purchasing status and delivery timelines.
• Analyze engineering and schedule scenarios to recommend optimal procurement strategies balancing cost and delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support efficient procurement operations.
• Review material usage data and recommend inventory plans and purchasing strategies.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in materials management (procurement, planning, estimating, or similar) for utility‑scale PV, BESS, and/or HV projects.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply planning roles, or an advanced academic degree in a relevant field.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, including report creation and supply plan management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple project portfolios.
