Supply Chain Test Engineer

About the role

KONE is seeking a Supply Chain Test Engineer for its Allen, TX location to lead the development, implementation and strategic alignment of production testing systems for unit‑area factories and area products. The role bridges global test development with local manufacturing, ensuring standardized yet regionally optimized test solutions for current production and new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of automated production test systems supporting electromechanical products.
• Analyze test performance, implement improvements to increase reliability, uptime and first‑pass yield.
• Develop technical documentation, training materials and best practices while mentoring technicians and production teams.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot builds and production readiness activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in production or manufacturing test engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline.
• Experience developing, deploying and sustaining automated test systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing for electromechanical products, including hardware, software and system‑level integration.
