Supplier Account Technologist (E5)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Supplier Account Technologist (E5) to lead complex, cross‑functional projects that support the delivery of equipment for semiconductor and display customers. The role combines technical expertise with project‑management responsibilities to ensure on‑time, on‑budget execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage end‑to‑end project plans, defining objectives, resources, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate capital allocation requests, purchase requisitions and purchase orders for equipment worldwide.
• Lead multifunctional design teams, providing technical direction and ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Interface with customers to define objectives, deliver status updates and prepare releases.
• Identify and resolve program complications, delivering innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Recognized technical expert in the field with broad knowledge of related disciplines.
• Proven ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend improvements.
• Experience leading high‑risk, complex projects and influencing resource allocation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with capacity for conceptual and innovative thinking.
• Excellent communication skills to persuade senior stakeholders.

What we offer

• Salary range $154,000 – $212,000 per year, plus bonus and stock awards.
