Summer 2027 Undergraduate Marketing Intern – Consumer Business Group

About the role

The 2027 Summer Undergraduate Marketing Internship in 3M’s Consumer Business Group offers a 10‑12 week, full‑time experience where interns work on real‑world projects that influence product development, marketing and distribution. Participants join the Frontline Program, receive orientation and training, and collaborate with 3Mers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consumer and market insights work such as trend analysis, segmentation, competitive and brand analysis.
• Perform financial analysis by researching and interpreting internal and external data.
• Develop strategy components including positioning, brand, value proposition, channel and pricing strategies.
• Create marketing content plans, e‑marketing and social media integration, and creative messaging.
• Manage execution and measurement of programs, including implementation, optimization and resource management.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business Analytics or a related field, with at least junior‑year standing.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Completion of at least two core courses in the chosen major.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
