Stylist Assistant – Content Studio

About the role

Join Macy’s Content Studio in Long Island City as a Stylist Assistant, supporting high‑volume on‑figure photography. You’ll ensure products are camera‑ready and help bring creative styling directions to life across a variety of shoots.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, pin, steam and press apparel, footwear and accessories for on‑set and still‑life photography.
• Assist stylists with core styling techniques and maintain on‑set readiness.
• Stay current on industry trends and online photo content creation best practices.
• Work independently while collaborating with stylists, photographers, designers, merchandise coordinators and operations teams.
• Partner with team managers to align on creative direction and anticipate project needs.
• Proactively solve problems, deliver solutions that meet creative objectives and ensure consistency and quality of imagery.
• Support the management of stylists, photographer schedules and studio workflows.
• Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality and foster a respectful, inclusive studio environment.
