Structures Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a professional Structures Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering firm. You will design and develop construction documents for complex vertical structures supporting heavy civil and community infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze vertical structures, concrete vaults, culverts, storage tanks, and booster stations.
• Prepare structural calculations, cost estimates, specifications, and PS&E contract documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and budgets for local, state, and federal agencies.
• Perform structural analysis using Enercalc, L‑Pile, STAAD and other Bentley software.
• Design foundations, abutments, retaining walls, and specialty components for roadway and site civil projects.
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to regional business development.
• Lead smaller projects, coordinating staff and design efforts.

Required profile

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of design experience in vertical structures.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within one year.
• Willingness to travel and work with other offices.
