Strategic Finance Lead

About the role

Rox is seeking its first dedicated Strategic Finance Lead to partner with the executive team on high‑impact decisions that shape growth, pricing, hiring, and margin. You will own the company’s operating model and provide the analytical foundation for revenue, headcount, cash, and runway planning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the operating model covering revenue, headcount, OPEX, margin, cash, and runway.
• Lead the annual plan and rolling reforecast, ensuring executive adoption.
• Drive the FP&A cadence: monthly forecasts vs. actuals, variance analysis, and budget trade‑offs.
• Define and reconcile revenue truth (ARR, CARR, bookings, retention, expansion) across the organization.
• Support GTM finance with capacity planning, quota coverage, pipeline analysis, and P&L implications.
• Analyze unit economics and gross margin by customer, segment, and product, including AI and cloud COGS.
• Provide pricing and packaging analysis to inform product and GTM decisions.
• Prepare board and investor materials with clean, defensible metrics.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in FP&A or strategic finance.
• Ability to build and own complex financial models and present insights to senior leadership.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment with long hours.
• Excellent communication skills to explain variances and trade‑offs in plain language.
