Staff Software Engineer - AI Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our next‑generation AI Platform. You will shape the architecture of a GenAI system that integrates large language models (LLMs) into internal and customer‑facing applications, driving cognitive automation at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and own highly scalable intelligent agents that leverage LLMs to automate workflows and improve user experiences.
• Define and execute the long‑term strategy for LLM integration across our software ecosystem.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to set the roadmap for cognitive automation, including information extraction, summarization, and question answering.
• Lead the full development lifecycle for mission‑critical machine‑learning‑powered tools, establishing reusable frameworks and patterns.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards for production‑grade, distributed machine learning solutions organization‑wide.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering large‑scale, distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of LLM technologies and their integration challenges.
• Strong track record of influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
• Ability to drive consensus and mentor engineers at all levels.

Required skills

• Expertise in building scalable, observable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models and AI/ML pipelines.
• Proficiency in system architecture, API design, and data exchange mechanisms.
