Sr. Indirect Tax Analyst

About the role

The Sr. Indirect Tax Analyst will support Porsche North American companies in all aspects of sales tax compliance, audit assistance, and tax impact analysis. The role works closely with business units and external consultants to ensure accurate filing and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly data for U.S. sales‑tax return preparation outsourced to a consulting firm.
• Manage the outsourced consulting firm, reconcile funding requests and sales‑tax bank accounts.
• Prepare and file Canadian GST, HST, PST, and other miscellaneous returns.
• Support resolution of sales‑tax audits and related notices for North American entities.
• Collaborate with business‑unit accountants to record tax payments, refunds, and accruals.
• Train non‑tax staff on tax‑related responsibilities.
• Research and resolve compliance issues, update tax rates and laws in tax and accounting systems, and document internal controls.
• Maintain customer exemptions in OneSource and assist the Tax Director/Manager with special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (CPA or MST preferred).
• 4‑6 years of indirect‑tax experience in a top‑tier public accounting firm or large corporate tax department.
• Experience with vehicle‑leasing tax implications is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detailed reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across the organization.

What we offer

• Salary range $80,000‑$95,000 per year (dependent on location and experience).
• Hybrid work schedule – three days onsite per week.
