Software Engineer – Calibration Platform

About the role

Join Applied Intuition’s Localization, Calibration, and Mapping team to build a self‑service platform that transforms sensor calibration from an expert‑dependent process into scalable production infrastructure. You will work directly with real‑world vehicle data, onboarding new vehicle types and shaping the platform based on live telemetry.

Key responsibilities

• Own calibration across a growing multi‑platform fleet, onboarding new vehicle types and converting learnings into reusable workflows.
• Drive cross‑team initiatives to improve reliability of the entire calibration path, partnering with build, hardware, and infrastructure teams.
• Design, build, and operate cloud workflow orchestration for calibration at fleet scale, from data collection through evaluation and deployment.
• Create automated data‑health gates that detect bad IMU/INS, GNSS/RTK, LiDAR, and camera data before it reaches the calibration pipeline.
• Ship production‑quality tooling that enables non‑expert internal users to run calibration processes independently.
