Software Engineer 1 – Entry Level

About the role

Join LexisNexis Risk Solutions as an entry‑level Software Engineer and work with modern technologies under the guidance of experienced mentors. You will help build impactful solutions that enable customers to make better, timelier decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for simple system components.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews under senior guidance.
• Operate in Agile, Waterfall, or other development environments while collaborating with stakeholders.
• Fix bugs and resolve basic technical issues.
• Stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Familiarity with data manipulation languages and data storage subsystems.
• Ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.

What we offer

• U.S. base pay range: $59,200 – $98,600 per year.
