Software Engineer 1

About the role

As an entry‑level Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software components within a specific product area. Working closely with experienced engineers, you will build technical expertise, apply development best practices, and help deliver high‑quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
• Under the guidance of senior‑level engineers, successfully implement development processes, coding best practices and code reviews.
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Complete bug fixes and resolve basic technical issues as necessary.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Basic knowledge of data manipulation languages.
• Experience building REST APIs and solid experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
• Hands‑on experience working with Java 21, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Knowledge of test‑driven development.
• Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
• Verbal and written communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.

What we offer

• U.S. National Base Pay Range: $59,200 - $98,600.
