About the role
Google Search is looking for a Social Media Manager to own and grow the brand’s presence across social platforms. You will translate product innovations into compelling, social‑first storytelling that engages users worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategy for Google Search, covering product launches and daily activations.
- Produce and oversee high‑polish and low‑fidelity social video content from ideation through delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, engineering, legal, and communications—to align social messaging with broader marketing goals.
- Present social strategies to internal stakeholders and influence project direction.
- Manage external creative agencies, creators, and partners to ensure consistent brand voice.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 6 years of marketing experience across growth, product, brand, or social disciplines.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and manage external agencies.
- At least 5 years of experience in social media management, brand marketing, or creative production focused on social‑first campaigns.
